AMP Wire have been manufacturing and supplying wire mesh Fan Guards throughout the UK and Europe for 30 years.
Mesh Fan Guards are a vital safety item by providing a physical barrier between the rotating blades of a fan and users/objects accidentally touching the fast spinning fans.
Each application requires a different type of guard as no two are the same. Our wire mesh Fan Guards are manufactured to your requirements and specification complete with any bracketry to allow you to secure the guard in place (screws etc not supplied).
By using AMP Wire, we will work closely with you so nothing gets lost in translation.
Traditionally, Fan Guards are made from ½” mesh as this helps to conform to BSPD 5304:2019 Safe use of Machinery for distance from moving parts. AMP Wire manufacture Fan Guards to your specification as we are not aware of the type of machinery you will be using the guards on or any of the distance from moving parts etc.

Fan Guards can be manufactured as:-
On occasion, we are asked to supply Fan Guards using 25mm square mesh (1” x 1” 12swg) and 50mm square mesh (2” x 2” 12swg / 10swg). We can also manufacture the guards in 304 or 316 Stainless Steel.
As our mesh Fan Guards are manufactured to your specifications, they can be any shape or any size.
Fan Guards are usually manufactured from mild steel wire mesh, but we can also manufacture in 304’s or 316 grade stainless steel, which is hard wearing and essential in off shore and medical environments.
We can also offer different sizes of wire mesh to suit your requirements.

Delivery Information
The approximate lead time for our wire mesh Fan Guards depends on your requirements and specification.
Many of our products are entitled to Free Standard Mainland UK Delivery and without any restrictions.
This excludes the following Postcode Areas:- IV, AB, KW, HS, ZE, PA, PH, DD, IM, GY, JE, TR, BT, Isle of Wight, Isle of Anglesey and Eire. These Postcode areas will be subject to an additional charge, please contact us for a quotation before placing your order. If you have placed your order, we will advise you of the delivery cost and send you a Pro Forma Invoice.
Standard Delivery is Monday to Friday between 8am to 6pm and to ground floor / kerbside only unless agreed with AMP Wire Ltd in writing. If there are any delivery restrictions / specific dates / times / dedicated deliveries / above ground floor deliveries, or FORS Registered deliveries, please contact the sales department as there may be an additional cost.
We will deliver using the most economical method, either using our own vehicles or a carrier. Goods may be palletised and delivered on an articulate vehicle. The deliveries are kerb side only so you would need to arrange to unload the vehicle.
Returns Information
As this product is made to order, we are unable to accept returns, unless damaged.
Please check the delivery before signed as AMP Wire Ltd will not accept claims for damaged goods if the goods have been signed for. If an item is damaged upon receipt of delivery, please write “Damaged” on the carrier notes and call or email us within 24 hours (if you can add pictures to your email that would be helpful). Our Carriers will NOT accept claims if you sign for the goods or write “unchecked” etc, so please check before signing.
