Ros Briggs of Willis Publicity; one of the leading suppliers of branded bar accessories and point of sale stands to the drinks industry, contacted AMP Wire with a request to manufacture a top quality chrome wire display stand to hold a 3 litre Ballantine’s Whiskey Bottle that would be used in bars across the Bahamas.
Undaunted by the task, the first job was to purchase a bottle of the Whiskey so the AMP Wire design team could make an accurate dimensioned drawing and build a prototype.
AMP Wire produced the prototype and it was quickly approved. Once approved, the AMP Wire production team had just 25 days to manufacture 100 of the whiskey display stands in order for them to catch a pre-booked flight; saving Willis Publicity additional freight costs and getting the chrome wire stands to the Bahamas on time.
