Our wire mesh Radiator Guards for water filled radiators, are manufactured by us as a safety item; they are a cost effective and efficient solution for ensuring radiator safety.
Many schools, nurseries and care homes have installed our wire mesh Radiator Guards.
Our Radiator Guards ensure water filled radiators in public areas protect people by preventing prolonged physical contact. Made-to-measure for all makes and models and conforming to HSE guidelines; our wire mesh Radiator Guards still allow maximum heat output.
The open wire mesh design allows the heat to escape, unlike more traditional wooden radiator guards which retain heat.
The sizes shown are a selection of the most common radiator sizes. All dimensions are in millimetres (mm) and are the radiator size.
We will add a standard clearance of H: 75mm x W: 100mm x D: 50mm to the radiator sizes shown.
Radiator Guards will be supplied with the above clearance to be added.

Material: Manufactured from 25mm pitch wire mesh
Valve Access: 178mm (h) cut out at the bottom on both sides of the guard
Fixing Lugs: Hook on design allows the guard to be removed by loosening the screws for easy access for maintenance
Finish: White plastic coating
Clearance: we will add the relevant clearance of: (H) 75mm x (W) 100mm x (D) 50mm to the radiator size selected
Delivery Information
The approximate lead time for our Wire Mesh Radiator Guards is approximately 10-14 working days (excluding Bank Holidays). As we are the UK Manufacturer, we will do our upmost to improve on this.
Many of our products are entitled to Free Standard Mainland UK Delivery and without any restrictions.
This excludes the following Postcode Areas:- IV, AB, KW, HS, ZE, PA, PH, DD, IM, GY, JE, TR, BT, Isle of Wight, Isle of Anglesey and Eire. These Postcode areas will be subject to an additional charge, please contact us for a quotation before placing your order. If you have placed your order, we will advise you of the delivery cost and send you a Pro Forma Invoice.
Standard Delivery is Monday to Friday between 8am to 6pm and to ground floor / kerbside only unless agreed with AMP Wire Ltd in writing. If there are any delivery restrictions / specific dates / times / dedicated deliveries / above ground floor deliveries, or FORS Registered deliveries, please contact the sales department as there may be an additional cost.
We will deliver using the most economical method, either using our own vehicles or a carrier. Goods may be palletised and delivered on an articulate vehicle. The deliveries are kerb side only so you would need to arrange to unload the vehicle.
Returns Information
As this product is made to order, we are unable to accept returns, unless damaged.
Please check the delivery before signed as AMP Wire Ltd will not accept claims for damaged goods if the goods have been signed for. If an item is damaged upon receipt of delivery, please write “Damaged” on the carrier notes and call or email us within 24 hours (if you can add pictures to your email that would be helpful). Our Carriers will NOT accept claims if you sign for the goods or write “unchecked” etc, so please check before signing.
